I had a M35A2 (military 2 1/2 ton transport truck) and yes, people were ALWAYS coming up and asking questions because big green ugly just stood out but sure looks like the Slingshot would be a lot more practical and just about as much fun, although I DID tow a house with big green once before a drunk killed it for me.

Wow - I've been thinking about getting one for better security but my Extang Trifecta 2.0, which came with the truck when I bought it a few years ago - only 16,000 miles, doesn't leak in the car wash and has only slightly leaked a little during some severe rainstorms here on the coast. Not sure if I want to switch it out now - thanks for the great job reviewing!

It isn't even a competition. NOTHING on the Harley is better than the total sum of yummy goodness that is the Indian Challenger. The HD is an antiquated design that's been dressed up and fettled and nipped and tucked but is still a large chunk of garbage when you get down to brass tacks. Indian Challenger without a doubt.

I’ve been looking at the new models for a few months. New style is not growing on me at all. Just traded my 17 Street Glide S, for a 2022 Road Glide S. Basically a new bike with under 2k miles. I’m now Road Glide fan 100%. I get it…..Love my new beast.

Harley has priced me out of ever owning a brand new Harley. I’ll probably only ever own a used HD. But maintenance costs an arm and a leg too so I don’t know if I even want to do that. Both options have me going broke over a motorcycle and it shouldn’t be that way.

Great camera work - but you missed two big negatives about the unit. 1. The way the cover drops down into the truck bed really does limit loading the truck. 2. Did you park this in the sun? The surface of this black metal cover gets extremely hot in direct sunlight - and then you put your hand on it to open it. Ouch!

My Indian Scout runs around 174 and when it reaches 204 in traffic the fan kicks in and the temps drop back down to 174.

I agree with Billsoltys7611. I put an X4s on my 2017 Honda Ridgeline shortly after I bought the truck brand new. It always leaked at the tailgate but just a little, I could live with that. My problem is that the seals between the panels have now deteriorated and have begun to tear. When I called customer service they told me that they do not sell these strips to the public, but they would sell me a new cover with a discount. My original cover was close to a $1000. Terrible customer service and business practices. I will never buy another cover from this firm

Never forget that what you know, they know. There was a rash of vehicles thefts where I used to live in New York and the thief got caught only by chance. We later learned that they were car audio and alarm installers by day and thieves by night! 🤨

The AirTag does not have a proximity feature that will alert you if a vehicle moves out of a preset boundary. It will only give you an approximate location of where the vehicle is! Apartments can be tough for securing a motorcycle unless it right under your window and has an alarm of some sort. That’s why I think that a storage unit or renting garage space in your area is a better option. I have two loud alarms of different types and four different types of locks on my bike and security cameras to safeguard it because I have to keep it in a shed because there’s no garage. If I lived in an apartment, and I have an expensive bike, a secure storage unit or garage rental is an investment in my peace of mind. 👍✌️

unfortunately, in todays world your attempted bike theft is going to progress to your truck, your house, etc. i use a dFence gps tracker on my bike, but if the bike thief is smarter than the one that tried to steal yours they know to twist handlebars to break the lock, tear out the electronics, drill to ignition, etc….so if if your stolen bike is found you will probably hope your insurance totals it due to the extensive damage. we’d look forward to your blue Indian review and garage a/c issue update…

The issue is the Citizens united ruling by the Supreme Court. IT allows corporations to be heavily involved in our government but without any accountability. So they are "People" when it benefits them but not when they dont want it. So they can use their massive pocketbooks to influence our representatives in ways that the average person cannot compete with ever.

Actually looked at one 6/24 test drive it for a good amount hit some twisty back roads with it . The only few things I didn’t like . The peddles are to close for my liking and I had a hard time finding center in the lanes and the brakes . I know small things but .. now I don’t know if the brakes can be upgraded or the brake pedal moved over a smidge? Oh what I test drive was a roush edition. Oh and do they make a full windshield for these ?

I agree that instead of banning a device or particular product the focus should be on what is being collected. Our privacy should be protected first and foremost!

You missed how the Trump tariffs, which now Biden has expanded, has made prices of new cars to soar. A lot of the aluminum and Steel for American car companies come from china, and american steel and aluminum is significantly more expensive. So Ford says the tariffs made their cars 12% more expensive to build. Then you have the 100% tariff on china EVs, because they have EV's for under $10,000 with 300 miles of range and better build quality than a budget American car. The problem is American protectionism means we the consumer pay more for everything.

Met a guy today, hated his ruroc it was falling to bits. Don't buy into any of the ruroc hype you see. Go get a brand of helmet you see used day in day out in Motorsports. HJC, Arais, Bell even their entry level products meet very respectable safety standards. They know the game.

I would like everyone to be aware that cold air intakes are a VERY bad idea. Any air modification in today’s engines is a bad idea. Aftermarket companies may spend thousands developing their cold air intakes but OEM’s spend millions. If you increase the air intake and don’t eliminate your catalytic converter you’re changing the combustion design. Modify it and you’re turning your engine a maypop. If you’re in the market for a used vehicle run away if you see a cold air intake because the owner that installed thought it would be ok because Mr banks said so and your buying that maypop. That engine maypop tomorrow or next month but one thing is for sure you have destroyed that long term investment.

Every time a new President is elected he replaces all of the Directors / heads of all Federal Government agencies with presidential appointees. Note that NONE of these appointees have to show they are capable of running a billion dollar a year budget agency. Then, the top 5/6 people in the agency directly under each new appointee never change. They carry over from president to president and tell each new appointee how to run the agency. Thats the biggest reason we have federal government failure longterm. i.e. Michael Brown, the head of FEMA that ultimately failed after Hurricane Katerina. His experience that got him the job / being a Presidential Appointee of running FEMA was being the head of the Arabian Horse Association.

Why is a drone ban even being considered? Google Maps will show just about anything China wants to see. If you Google a US Military base it provides anyone an extreme amount of data about the base. Everything you own that is has electronics / has a computer of any kind / a chip is made from China. Your PC, your dishwasher, your refrigerator, your truck, your motorcycle, your modem, your router, etc all have computer chips in them from China. Yes, every China made computer chip has a backdoor. And, if you were to check, pretty much every “American” company that you buy all this stuff from is at least in part owned by China.
